Here comes the new semester again and as usual, there will be new faces, and not forgotten, the senior students with their new hopes and plans, and even some of them are discussing the latest hot topics – what else, Malaysia’s politic. I can’t say much about politic, what I can say is, I just want the government to take care of Malaysians, and by all means, I just want a true, dedicated and credible Malay to lead the country as the Prime Minister, that’s all. As for myself, I need to improve my CGPA, thinking of my future that lies ahead. I can’t predict what my future will be, so from now on, I need to get ready and be prepared to face the future, which I’m sure is much tougher than it is now. As for now, I'm dissatisfied with my last semester’s result, so I think it is a must for me to increase my CGPA for this semester, and this requires the need of staying focused. So I have decided to sell my desktop computer to avoid being addicted to gaming, well, it’s unfortunately my favorite pastime. I've spent a lot of times gaming for the past years, so I think it is better for me to get rid of it now, or else, I won't get what I want this semester. So I've bought a new laptop to replace my desktop, maybe it is not as good as my previous computer, but I still can use it for academic purposes. It just has a minor disability in graphic performance, which i think is not that important to me, for now.
PTPN...... this should be a happy news for us, students, but it seems it is not. We have been waiting for so long, and the semester has already started for a week now and still have been hearing nothing about it. Where is the PTPTN missing? Do they know that students really need money to buy their textbooks, stationery, and to be spent on other expenses? We need it so much. On the 13th of July, I received the latest newsflash from my friend. PTPTN has already been banked in into our account. YES, it should be a great news, but some of us, students, are increasingly disappointed because we realize that some of our money (about RM200) is missing. Where is the money?? I've heard some rumors about the missing money, but i can just remain silent. I'm just a student. However, it is significantly essential to note that students do have power. In Indonesia, the students play their rules to change their government, they play the big roles in going for or against the government. But hopefully Malaysia won't be like them. I don't want to have the power to control my country if it means that the foreign power will have the chance to invade us like Indonesia. But still, students do have the power. It is just about the right time for them to use it. Besides that, I don't think students should emphasize politic more than their studies, if they fail in their studies, do you think that they are qualified to rule the country? The same goes to me, I need to focus on my study more than anything else.
It should be enough of politics. Back to the main point, my new semester. This new semester has given me some shocking news. Hey, it's just a week, there are still plenty of weeks that lie ahead of us. So who knows what will happen after this. But I'm praying hard that anything that's about to happen in the future will bring good news to everyone. Amin.
