The Fictional Character That I Like

A fictional character is the character that does not exist in real life but is created for certain purposes which play certain roles. Usually, fictional character is very different compared to non-fictional character as their attitudes, characteristics, their actions and etc sometimes are beyond what we imagine and mostly it will not happen in the real world. Fictional character also is a very interesting character, usually the author or director will put some special attitudes towards the fictional character which makes them much more interesting. As an example; the character might look stupid in front of many people, but he is a hidden genius.



I have a fictional character that I like, he is from an investigational comic that I always read. His name is Hajime Kindaichi from Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo. He is gifted with 180 IQ, but not many do realize it. What I like about this character is his attitude. In the story, he is pictured as a very stupid high school student which always fails in the school's examination, and shockingly, the school that he is studying in is one of the best schools in Japan. Furthermore, he enters the school with the highest score for the test that any students are required to sit and pass with certain mark in order to enter the school. He seems to be enjoying sleeping in his class rather than learning, it is quite mysterious how he manage to have the highest score for the school's entrance test. He also befriended some friends even though he likes to annoy other people and is very lazy. Usually people do not like to befriend with people who acts like him, it is the reality, but in the story it is different. Maybe he has his own charm. Besides that, he befriends a girl who he has known since a child and the girl is the cleverest student in the school. The girl is very beautiful, intelligent and well known in the school. She is liked by everyone and is the president of students' society for the school, but yet she likes him so much. Which it rarely happen in real life situation.

The positive attitude that the character has despite of the negative that is shown by the author are many. One of them is he will never give up when he is trying to solve any criminal cases even though it is hard and unsettled by the police department, he is dedicated detective. Besides that, the author also shows his humanity and kindness. In most cases, he is not only revealing the truth, but he is also trying to make the criminals realize of their mistakes and make them regret of their wrongdoing.

Last but not least, he has an IQ of 180. Yet he never shows off and he will use his ability in the right place. Mostly, some people intend to use their gifts to do something bad; something wrong. That's why I like him, i respected him. He shows that we can choose to be whoever we are, as we are what we are.
